I wish I could be in Los Angeles today… my friend Jenny is hosting a bake sale for Doctors Without Borders at her lovely shop, Home Ec, this afternoon!

I hear there will be heart-shaped vanilla sandwich cookies and double chocolate brownies and all kinds of delicious treats. Stop by and pick out some favorites if you’re in the neighborhood!

Our vegan bake sale here in Portland is coming up next Sunday… I’ll be there. I don’t bake vegan too often but I’m excited to make something new for that!
